Some people have cholesterol problems whether because of genes, diet, or a combination of both.  But the reality is that so many are taking prescription cholesterol medications for all of those reasons, and they don’t necessarily see results, let alone the immediate results they hope for.  And apparently, some have resigned to the idea that they have bad memory and were just born with it or are just getting old.  But some statin drugs may actually cause memory loss.  In that case, it’s not actually just hereditary memory loss or getting old, it’s a side effect that you should check out to see if you should try something else or just deal with it. 

Hopefully, you can find something better.  But they will generally take you off the medication and try instead a highly strict diet for a period of time to have a point of comparison should you have this particular problem.  Many have found that they quickly get their memory back when this happens.  If you can go with natural supplements or a natural and effective kind of diet plan, that definitely is a more pleasant and desirable alternative.  But these are things to check out with your doctor rather than deciding without.
